We got the blues for Edmonton

About Us

The Edmonton Blues Society (EBS) is a registered non-profit society in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Our mission is to promote and facilitate local blues musicians and fans coming together to enjoy the music they love, by:

 - giving amateur and developing Blues musicians a chance to play to a supportive audience,
 - members and guests get the opportunity to hear and party to good blues music in a safe and friendly family environment.
 - encouraging young local blues musicians, and
 - contributing to local charities.

The EBS is completely run by volunteers who are blues fans and/or musicians themselves! The following members have been elected to the EBS Board for 2008: Janette Frigon, Lonnie Hanson, Glenn Luff, Bernie Kowalewski, Andy Nikiforuk, Rosalynn Ruptash, Brenda Smyth, Mike Smyth, and Tom Wood.
