EBS Events are held at Queen Alexandra Hall, 10425 University Ave., Edmonton, (MAP), doors open at 7:30pm, music starts at 8:00pm, unless stated otherwise in the event listing. Coffee, refreshments, and snacks are available. Events will be updated as information comes available. Schedule subject to change.
The dances usually (but not always) have three bands. Performance time slots are generally as follows: 8:00 to 9:10 pm, 9:25 to 10:35 pm, and 10:50 to midnight. The band order is often decided at the event but we will attempt to list the bands in order of appearance in the listing (no guarantees!).
Membership fees are currently $25 a year, renewable on the anniversary of the date of purchase. Admission for members to regular events is $5.00 and open stage/jams is $3.00, half price for Charity events and a 20% discount for special sponsored events. Memberships are available at any EBS event.
Non-members are welcome as guests at $10.00 admission for regular events, $5.00 for open stage/jams, and the full posted price for all other events.

The Edmonton Blues Society (EBS) is pleased to announce this kickoff fundraiser
and silent auction to sponsor a local blues band to represent Edmonton and EBS in
the 2012 International Blues Challenge held in Memphis, Tennessee USA.
A veteran entertainer, Canadian blues icon and Juno Award winner, James’ talents as a
guitarist, vocalist, band leader, and songwriter have allowed him to produce the music he
loves for over three decades. Paul James has worked alongside many of the finest
players, including Mink De Ville, Bo Diddley, Bob Dylan, John Hammond, Spencer Davis,
Lightnin' Hopkins, Jack Scott and Sunnyland Slim, to mention a few. Paul is also the
recipient of Toronto Music awards for Best Club Band and Best Blues Artist.
